-Personal Statement Workshop with Kaplan Test Preparatory
Thursday May 15 @ 7:30pm in HSSB 1174
The personal statement can be your best
opportunity to make an
impression on the panel of people determining your admission to any
form of
grad school. It can be the most challenging piece of the application
as
well. How do you portray all the qualities that make you an excellent
candidate in a page or less? What kind of essay should you write? How
formal or informal should it sound?
This event is open to all students and is free of charge. At the
workshop
you will receive answers to the questions that you may have regarding personal
statements. This is an excellent opportunity for students
who will be submitting
grad school applications this summer or fall. You will leave knowing
what it takes
to write the best personal statement possible!
