Our sisterhood

Members of the Santa Clara University chapter of Rho Psi Eta Pre-Health Sorority come together through a shared interest in the health professions and a strong commitment to sisterhood and service. Our chapter provides a supportive community where members can grow academically, personally, and professionally while exploring their paths in healthcare. Through community service, fundraising, health-profession events, and educational opportunities, members can give back to the community, connect with others in healthcare, and build lasting relationships with their sisters.

A few words from our president:

Dear Potential New Member, 

​

Rushing Rho Psi Eta is truly the best thing I did for myself at SCU! Pursuing a career in healthcare can be incredibly stressful and intimidating as you navigate taking hard STEM classes, finding extracurriculars, studying for pre-professional exams, and even just figuring out what exactly you want to do, especially as a young woman. Rho Psi has given me the best community of sisters who support each other through it all. 

 

The best advice I can give about the recruitment process is that we want to get to know YOU. What makes RPE so great is how diverse our sisters are! We believe you’re passionate about healthcare (no doubts about that!) but we want to get to know you as a person outside of that. What can you provide to our community? How do you see yourself benefitting from what we have to offer? We aren’t looking for particular answers here, just authentic responses that shed light on the amazing person we already know you are! 

 

We’re SO excited to meet you and show you all that our sisterhood has to offer. Personally, I can say that Rho Psi has helped me with my confidence, and public speaking abilities, introduced me to countless professional development opportunities, and best of all, RPE has given me me some of my best friends.
